Baribeau, British Columbia

The property is located east of Kootenay Lake, consisting of 1,527 ha (3,773 acres). The property covers a possible buried (“blind”) intrusive body localized along an apparent magnetic trend extending from the Hall Creek stock northward to the Fry Creek Batholith. Limited soil sampling was completed on the property during 2005.

In 2006 a limited soil program was completed as a continuation of the 2005 program. A total of 67 soil and 4 silt samples were collected, comprised of samples along contours, one above the road, a mid-elevation contour and short sub-alpine contours. Results include anomalous molybdenum (less than 4.6 ppm), copper ( less than 60.8 ppm), lead (less than 321 ppm), zinc (less than 190 ppm), silver (less than 1.2 ppm), gold (less than 33.4 ppb) and tungsten (less than 0.5 ppm). The soils documented a number of low grade geochemical anomalies deemed worthy of additional work. The property has potential supported by limited soil sampling and regional geophysics.
