Mount Rice, British Columbia
Polymetallic

The 940 ha (2,323 acre) property similarly overlies a moderate magnetic signature located southwest of the Fry Creek Batholith and between the mapped exposures of the Sawyer stock (north) and Hall Creek stock (south). The United Copper MINFILE occurrence is located to the west and may indicate a polymetallic vein associated with a local granitic intrusion.

A limited, preliminary soil program was completed on the Mount Rice property, comprised of 165 soil samples taken along 4 contour lines. The program was intended to provide a first pass evaluation with soil lines located at both the north and south edges of the property with a third along an east-west trending basin at the core. A fourth short line was placed below steep ground and is, effectively, a continuation of the southernmost line.

The soils documented anomalous copper to 82 ppm, lead to 157 ppm, zinc to 405 ppm, spotty silver to 1.5 ppm and gold to 9 ppb. In addition, there were several multi-sample bismuth anomalies between 0.8 and 1.3 ppm, which may indicate the influence of the Sawyer Stock slightly farther to the northwest. The results are interpreted to indicate further work is warranted to assess multi-element, multi-sample anomalies along the few contour lines completed.
